Short story marathon

It was a winter night. Everyone was celebrating New Year, except a ghost whose name was Andy. He was living in the cave near the Vikings’ village. He was fond of scaring people. As usual he was going to frighten Vikings. Suddenly he heard a voice. ‘Come here and I will make you alive!’. Andy was afraid but it was also challenging. He slowly went towards that voice and found a Vikings’ helmet. It was magic helmet not usual, but he didn’t think long and put the helmet on as he wanted to become alive again. He got body and memories of a Viking whose helmet was lying.  Something moved him to the Vikings’ ship, it was the memories of the Viking who has lost everything except his helmet in the sea. When he got on board of the ship the wind blew the sail. It was cold and the sea was calm. Andy was happy on board of the ship, but didn’t last long. His mood changed as fast as the cloud became grey and the rain started. It was raining very hard, the sea became creasy and waves were as strong as the thunder in the black sky. Andy picked up the telescope which was lying on the board of the ship and saw that his ship was going to the whirlpool! He couldn’t do anything. The whirlpool was pulling the ship like a magnet. Andy lost his mood and turned pale. He was ready to die. Finally the whirlpool dried the ship. Sea calmed and Andy’s ship was nowhere to see. It was dark, but a beam fell to Andy’s face. Andy woke up. He was so surprised that he was still alive, and not only for that. He woke up in a cave under the sea. He could hardly stand, but when he took some steps he saw a giant iron gates which were open. He entered, but there was nothing, only walls and some traps which were going somewhere. Andy understood that it was a labyrinth.  He had nothing to do, but to overcome it. Two days passed. Andy was very hungry and tired, but he hadn’t overcome the labyrinth yet. He failed down. But he didn’t want to die. He stood up and began fighting in order to stay alive. Some time later, when he was hardly walking he saw an old poor man with a long beard. He hurried to that old poor man and said. ‘Who are you? What is happening here?’ The man said with a very weak voice. ‘I am a Viking who had come here in order to find a chest from the legend, but I couldn’t. I have lost my helmet where I had hidden the map of this labyrinth.’ Andy took of the helmet and asked. ‘Is this that helmet?’ ‘Yes, it is! Where have you found it? Now we can get out from this labyrinth!’ The old man took the helmet and took the map from it. Finally they got out of the labyrinth. Andy saw that legendary chest and a skillet 5m far from the chest. He looked at the old man. The old man laughed and disappeared. Andy was shocked, but he wanted to live! He went to that chest and opened it. It was shining so bright that Andy couldn’t see what in that chest was. Andy closed his eyes, and when he opened them he saw a Christmas tree, under the tree there were gifts. Andy was in his house, and it was only a Christmas magic.
